maybe this isone for OC  he likes trains.  this was in cumbria. a working steam train ( smaller scale) but used daily by locals as well as the tourists. had a lovely station and shop , the station was lovely, decked out with flowers and hanging baskets and had a room with chairs and screen set up with the history of the station. i think it had something to do with mines/miners...  i will try and look it up and see what info i can find

The Willow Carr Pond looking very picturesque. What a nice calm and relaxing scene this is! A shame about the 'landed fish'!

Swans are so graceful, my girlfriend and I often feed the ducks and swans near us and end up with the ducks following us waddling along. Feel like Doctor Doolittle!

Hope you talk to them nicely!!  Swans are quite intimidating out of the water, they are often on the grass area of the Carr when we walk through.

Ha ha, yeah, but they never talk back!!!! Swans get quite big when they open their wings, they only seem to be capable of aggression if they have cygnets with them though.

What some lovely pics of the pond etc, it is a pretty spot. The fairground ones are good too. Took me right back, I couldn't even go on the Carousel without feeling sick.
