British politicians cheap shots at teen and elderly victims crushed to death.
"It was their own fault they died, they pushed and shoved." - Russel Hawker.
How would you feel if a senator, congressman, or some other US politician claimed that those who were killed on 911, had only themselves to blame because, well, they brought about their own destruction and it was their own fault?
Well, British councillor, Russel Hawker, claims that ninety six Liverpool fans who were crushed to death in a Sheffield stadium in 1989 had only themselves to blame.
Despite an official inquiry clearing the fans of any wrong doing, the councillor for Wiltshire, a well to do county in England chose to publicly air his views and has upset the friends, family and survivors of the deceased.
The deceased?
Young teenage kids through to seniors.
The councillor is seemingly revelling in his new found infamy, laughing and joking about his comments, claiming they're true (despite 100% evidence to the contrary).
What type of elected official would say this?
Worryingly still, we believe there has been no reprimand made against him by the council or any of the authorities he serves and what's more, he serves as a governor on a number of school boards!!
So just remember, if you're one of the couple of hundred thousand people who regularly checked out this site in August, if you're ever in England, give Wiltshire a miss and boycott the entire area.
No doubt they'll be claiming the holocaust didn't happen before too long.
We're all for free speech, but telling lies, damning the innocent dead and lapping up the attention surely can't be the views of a sane, rational man.
Is this how far this once great and proud country has fallen? Where politicans actually blame their own citizenry for their own deaths when there is incontravertable evidence to the contrary while similtaneously gloating about it in the limelight.
Shame on him, shame on the people who elected him, shame on Wiltshire council and ... would you really be happy to let your kid go to one of his schools?
