i have a radio, but its hardly on. radio in the kitchen occasionally goes on when liverpool are on. clock radio has radio 2 on when i listen to that.  people listen to different channels, maybe commercial radio stations. some people don't have a car, some people listen to a cd or cassette rather than the radio

It has to be a blanket thing though, the fee is for tv, online services and the radio reception you can receive in your car and home.It cant be PAYG.

radios are company to people. i don't listen to the radio as much as i used to.
if someone got rid of their tv, does that mean they still have to pay £142 tv licence fee so they can listen to the radio?  i always thought you do not need a tv licence to listen to a radio

true it can't be payg as it'll be almost impossible to tell how much gets used... watching tv on a mobile phone requires a licence, but that gets downloaded from the companies so they know how much data gets sent, so they can do payg on that.

if i remember, tv licence covered radio use (back in the 70s and 80s)

bbc still make the best programmes. advertising free, enjoyable viewing.

sky is just a cash cow fleecing the public. dictating what to watch, when to watch.

my dream is if everyone ditches their sky subscriptions... back to the nice life we had before they came along  :)

i'm content with the four channelsl plus freeview...

like the bruce springsteen song goes, 57 channels and there's nothing on....

but we live in a media culture and this was the aim of bskyb. manmade, artificial. what has it done for the economy? a little boost, dish installers...a few newsreaders, a few shareholders and a brainwashed britain lol

supermarket promotions... tough one this

since supermarkets are programmed to sell to large families and manipulate - other people can't benefit from offers such as 3 for 2 ... maybe its ok for 3 small items, but 3 packs of washing powder? where the heck are people going to stash the stuff? lol

buy one get one free is better for all. or better still, half price offers.

how come a 500g jar of pasta sauce costs about £1.78 and a small 250g jar costs £1.45??

buying a record from a shop in the 80s and discovering when you get home, it jumps. so you have to spend time and money taking it back. could still happen with a dvd or cd marked during manufacture but still a nuisance

Motorway services (fuel prices, food prices and cigarette prices). Only use them now for the WC!!
I may disagree with your views but I am NOT attacking YOU!
