Can't say I am surprised. It has been a rubbish paper since Murdoch took it over (and not much better before that)! I will not miss it !

I saw on the news that one paper vendor had been selling other papers but the 'sun' had been boycotted! Will that be next to go I wonder?
Is it time for your Medication or mine?

The Sun is, as you know, owned by Murdoch. There appears to be the possibility that it could become a 7 day paper - Sun and Sunday Sun!  However, if it continues to be a paper with very little news, but restricts its' reporting to sex scandals and "celebrity" news (most of which is bloody boring) it will, in my humble opinion, follow the NoW into oblivion!

The NoW are to print extra copies this weekend.

Why? Do they think people will buy them as an investment (the end of 168 years publishing)?

With these extra copies they will be as rare, and collectible, as Tetley Tea Bags! (Sorry Tetley!)

I think lots of people who don't normally buy it will get it tomorrow - I think I will if there are any left. It's a bit of history.

Many people will buy it with the intention of keeping it, and it will get thrown away eventually. I'd imagine in 50 years or so you'd make a bit of money from it on ebay :)

Ahhh well Rose, it all went to charity (allegedly!). Have a look at the crosswords though, the clues made me chuckle - bit of a dig at those responsible by all accounts...
