Fills me with so much confidence.   Remember he said he would fight for energy consumers and then told us we all have to switch off lights.

PM to fight for Britain?  The last 4 didn't despite their fine words. Cameron will be no different.

All I have heard is that he want Britain exemped from the Working Hours Directive, so his friends, the bosses of British Industry, can make their workers work longer hours!!

A British Prime Minister sticking up for the British people!! No way!
I may disagree with your views but I am NOT attacking YOU!

Nice to see we have made significant progress since the 1930's.   You can tell when a politican is lying...................his lips move.   Something or nothing changes for mere mortals.

Its a meaningless piece of legislation that any non-public sector or non-union worker signs a waiver for when they start a new job anyway. Its only folk in cushy non-real world jobs that are fighting to keep it.
Ride fast, take chances. Just don't blame me when you fall off.

Cameron's really cocked it up. We are in the EU (like it or not) but now he's excluded us from having any say in any Treaty changes and the French are laughing their heads off at us.

Still, it might lead to another call for a referendum on whether we stay in or not and if that happens it could be a coalition buster! The sooner the better.
We've never had it so bad under this lot.

Well  done Dave for looking after your backbenchers even when we are  in dire straits you show everybody you only care about the rich people in London who along with the Torie backbenchers keep you in your job you should now call a ref on the EU now what you done today was stab us in the back we have less say in the EU than we had before.

But you wont do that Why because the lib Dem's would spilt from this so called coalition and that will not just be disastrous for them but you too.  [app] [app] [app] [app] [app] [app] [app] 8)

I think Cameron has been a real idiot here. He's scared of his back-benchers cos they shout the loudest. I really do think it's time for a referendum on Europe, and hope that the public see sense.

I think a large part of the problem is that the general public (myself included) do not understand the complexities of Europe, and Daily Mail scaremongering leads people to think that 'Britain will lose it's identity'. IMO Britain has had many, many different identities, and really we just need to forget egos and get on board with Europe. We're not an island fortress anymore.
