Have we all seen the Youtube phenomenon that is the lady from Bath with the road rage?

Give it a Google. (I would post a link but my laptop will BSOD if I go to Youtube!)

Grey area though Al - just because you're in a public place it doesn't mean I can follow you around all day with a camera. She is an idiot though - what the guy was filming was completely fine and couldn't be deemed as harassment...

S9 - its not grey, its been cleared up twice in recent years by the courts. You are allowed to photograph or video anything or anyone in a public place so long as you could reasonably expect to be seen in that place. ie, you can't stand on a path and video through the crack in someones curtains, but you can certainly video car in the middle of a public road. You can also stand on a public road and take photos of a Golden Wonder factory (another recent fun one). Her actions in the video are more harassment then the chap behind the camera's. I'm impressed by the chap with the camera though, I'd have lamped her (OK, I wouldn't have but I'd so wanted to have). What an annoying stupid cow.

But still, if I followed you down Westbury High Street filming you, even though it's a public place and you can see me it doesn't make it legal. It is in fact harassment if I continue to do it...

Hmmmm that gives me an idea ;)

Its not illegal. Its only harassment if I feel harassed and its a hard one to prove (as has been shown in court). The chap is not following the lady at all, he is keeping his camera rolling after she pursues him, quite different.

S9, if you idea involves me, from the right hand side please ;)

Anyway S9, Harassment, "the act of tormenting by continued persistent attacks and criticism". One filming instance is not continued or persistant.... (yes, I have just gone and read the 1977 Harassment Act - yes, I do have better things to do but you know me, easily distracted!)

I'd think Russell probably has a case for harassment against a few locals ;)

Just to clarify I don't think the woman has been harassed at all and the 'Fat Little Lump' was well within his rights :)

*Nb When I say Fat Little Lump I'm referencing the man in the video, called a Fat Little Lump by the lady in question. Not anyone on this forum ;)

She sounds foreign. Maybe that is how they park where she comes from.

Interesting little bit i noticed at 2 mins 45. She clearly tells her husband that "he's going to put it on Twitter apparently" Which is a complete bold face lie. He never mentioned anything about what he was going to do with the footage until later on when he mentioned Youtube. She seems to be able to lie quite easily to get the situation to her advantage.

She's made it to the front page of the Chronicle this week, as well as into lesser publications such as the Guardian and Telegraph...

I must agree! If you are going to film something on your mobile, at least hold it properly!
