Repeat prescription service phone line

Just tried to use the new phone ordering service for the first time, I have tried 3 times this morning and the first time it was engaged the second I was told it would be a 4 minute wait, the third, a 3 minute wait, I hung up both time as I dont want to waste money sitting there waiting for them to anser,w( I think its 9p a minute?) I know its early in the morning but I thought it would be a simple process? I wonder how many more times I will have to call until they answer? I have to go out now and wont be able to try again until later this afternoon.

Not a very good first experience.

First thing Monday morning is hardly the best time to try any new telephone service. It is possibly the worst time ...

it took me 8 times to actually speak to someone,sometimes it was engaged, sometimes it just rended the call then I had to wait 4 minutes when I did finally get through and then she said I could not order my disabled sons medicine as it was not on 'record' that I can order them, I have always ordered his things as I have power of attourney, in the end she let me do it after I tried to explain that he cant order his own, does this mean that everyone who orders for others will get the same problem? what a blinking hassle.

i use the on line method which is so good, also last week i had a private prescription that needed to be renewed but did not want to pay the £100 for the medication involved! I rang them and the phone was answered immediately and they were soooooooooo helpful. I made the call at 10am and i picked up the medication at 4 pm, so its a big big thumbs up from me

I have nothing but praise for the new service. I speak as i find .   Ive used it 3 times so far..  had my call answered in seconds and that was this morning as well .    The 3 previous times ive used my prescription has been delivered to my door the next day.
I find it easy ... clear and much more reliable

Prescription ordered yesterday over the pod was delivered this morning at 9.15

Pharmacy2u. Once you've set it all up, hit the app. tap, tap, tap. Job done. Couple of days later medication arrives on doorstep.
Please would you walk a little faster, or get the f*** out of my way.

Well I used pharmacy2u, what a brilliant site, had my medicine delivered on the day I requested, I will use this for all of our needs from now on.
