Do you always put a downer on everything dorian .

Yes ots.not.december yet but a lot of people do their christmas shoppong long before december you know.   When my children were little i would have had everything bought and wrapped and hidden away by the.end.of august. Yes august.  With 4 children you have to start early.

It was also a chance to see the changes at fairwood holiday park previously called cuckoos rest.  . Did you know they have a cafe and lovely new childrens.play area which is open to all ??  No ...nor did i until my daughter had a stall at the christmas fayre there on saturday. When its not so wet and.muddy.i shall be.taking.my.mum and granddaughter there for a play and  coffee and cake. Its looks nice on website photos.

Whats the saying ..shop local..use us or lose us !!

No actually Debs I do not, and if you listen to any social media stuff people are saying pretty much the same about Christmas functions etc
i take exception to what was a joke Debs, I support and have been immersed totally in Fetes, Fayres  within westbury for years.

I agree with Dorian. Christmas is promoted far too early these days. Fair enough if you want to do your Christmas shopping in August, that's up to you but to be bombarded with aisles full of Christmas tat when you go shopping in October or even November is a bit much. I like Christmas time but by the time it does arrive your fed up with it all. I went to a garden centre a few weeks back to buy a new pair of secateurs and found that the area where they would have been was cleared and stocked with Christmas decorations FFS..
