« on: July 29, 2008, 19:19:17 PM »
have you been somewhere recently for a nice meal?  good service....lovely food...nice atmosphere ??

let us know where  so we can all try it !
somewhere romantic!!
somewhere  child friendly
somewhere good value for money
somewhere where money is no object
we might find places to try that before we hadnt even thought of  :)

hmm spicy shredded beef          :-X  other half likes that...bit to spicy for me...

 welllllllllllll
we have just got back from players after having a sunday roast.......
came home feeling a bit let down and dissapointed !! to start with they tried to charge me £1.30 for using my debit card  ::)  so i scrapped the cash out of the purse..... never had that before when i use my card...
the beef was nice... but a bit pink for my daughter who doesnt like it pink.... the broccolli was nearly "off" so they tried to mask it by covering it with cheese sause but they couldnt even make that right and it was the same consistancy as milk   yukkk...so that was the broccolli n cauliflower not eaten to start with. honestly it was really yelloy brown all around it     ( gross)    the spuds were lush as was the yorkshire pud........

well after that i dont think we will be going back there......

is there something about players that we are unaware of i wonder!!!!! like last week we were the only ones there....last year when we went there a few times it was  packed for sunday lunches...in fact we had be known to queue up for them.....  standard has dropped a bit i must say.....  has it been taken over by new people im wondering.......  so no i dont think we will be getting membership forms now.......

live n learn..live n learn !!!

thats ok...i think next next week we have all elected to stay at home and have a home cooked meal.......
its gonna be a fight over who is going to cook it, especially after my experiance with the  fish sauce and the stir fry last week

I went to the Thai in Warminster again last night. It was bloomin' quiet, but the food was good as always :)
