« Last post by DORIAN on December 10, 2017, 17:47:36 PM »
I did look at the Wiltshire Times to see if announcement but there is none
For those old enough to remember Rickards Garage(currently the Westbury nursing home in station road next to the old Doctors surgery)Reg and David ran it before retiring to Cornwall after Reg died many years ago.  Eileen Rikard, the wife of Reg died last week. the service is on the 21st at Westbury

it was a dark grey. had I had anything larger than my car, it would beggar belief.. a landrover etc would have been well and done
What upset me , was that I tooted, yes tooted the horn and no one turned up. had I a truck I would have towed them from the road. yes I was incensed

On my way in to Bath and back (at random times) via Hinton Charterhouse and Midford, I've started using the little PO in Hinton Charterhouse. I've never seen the queue more than one person long, but it is closed on Wednesdays .... which means a visit to Dilton Marsh PO at Fairfield Farm ...

thanks for the response nothing to add though. Westbury needs a PO, that's it!!
I work in Basingstoke, and on my way back I stop at Stockbridge, a little village with 2000 lucky home owners, so I use their little post office where I do my business ....  says it all really. and yes Debbie, I am having a justified moan at Westbury
