do you think they ( not just M n S) are all jumping on the band wagon??

"hhmmm profits are going to be down , so lets sack a few to back the blow to us a bit less. we w ont have to pay wages that way, ect"

could that be what  they are all thinking or am i a bit sceptical?

a lot of these firms have mega bucks every year in their end of year profit reports.surely there is nothing wrong in taking some of the strain and not having so much profit..im quite sure all these people's jobs being sacrificed are a drop in the ocean compared to the "fat cats " wages at the t op of these firms... i wonder if they take a pay cut before they go sacking people?

I see that the Trowbridge 'Simply Food' M&S shop is to close.

That doesn't surprise me.
when ever we are in the Shires we go in and have a look around, see stuff that looks nice, look at the price and walk out again then go into Asda's.
