The other (currently suspended or closed?) forum was set up by Mr & Mrs Donkin in mid-2006 when the previous long-established "Westbury Town Forum" was suspended by its owner and chief administrator Kevin Saunders.  All the members and Mods of the old forum transferred across within a few days.  When the older forum re-opened a few days later, it never re-gained its old level of activity and then closed permanently a few months later.

I'm not trying to close any forum down, honestly. When I heard yesterday that the other forum was "closing down" I knew not for how long, so I threw this together. Now I find several other people have been banned due to the other forums editorial policies, which makes me think I might as well leave this one open for anyone who wants to visit. Think of this as the people's forum, rather than any individual's. We'll see how it goes I guess!
