now that looks like it would make the ornaments on my shelf rattle with the vibration
would be a good sight though i would imagine

I believe that they are designed to be quieter than helicopters because the rotors are smaller and faster.
 
They also cruise much faster and can fly like a normal plane when the rotors tilt forwards.

But the pilot sits in a solid titanium box, machined from billet. Its just stupid, so stupid they did it. It rocks! They make a great noise too, both the engines and the chain gun ;D
