Penleigh to Westbury footpath

Does anyone else use this path at all? Since I have to get the train from Westbury to work I sometimes use it, but it's pretty overgrown in places and not the easiest of routes to negotiate on a bike. It would be nice if the relevant council cleared it a bit more often. Cllr H is this your jurisdiction???

You can email the Rights of Way officer. Although, I wouldn't mention the bike bit, it is illegal to use a bike on a footpath.

The relevant Wiltshire County councillor is Cllr Christopher Newbury.

There is only one county councillor in this area of Westbury and Dilton, and Christopher is the duly elected member to speak to.

I remember Cllr Newbury knocking on my door before the last election. He told me as I wasn't eligible to vote at the time that he didn't have time to speak to me!

Well, he was honest.
 
He had a Division of about 5,000 homes to deliver leaflets to, so he would have had to keep moving all the time just to get around everywhere. I doubt if he was actually canvassing as he would not have had time. He was probably just checking on who lived there and just wanted to say hello as that's all you can do when you are just one candidate in a huge division doing all your own work (without a party).

did anything get sorted out soup?
i know its the council but sometimes they move quick..... i know a friend who phoned them up complaining of a bad dip in the road by her house that every lorry went in and it clattered all night long... next morning they were out fixing it  [app]
