i just had a chat with a friend on messenger and she said a cement works lorry broke down on the roundabout at haynes road warminster road and caused havok..... tailbacks to yarnbrook......
 we thought the road was busy...and ticking over a bit earlier

as its a cement works lorry the bypass wouldnt affect that so any comment i was about to make about bypass i have forgotton about  lol

i would imagine so.....i havent had need to look up haynes road today as i have had no "illegals" parking on my drive

Um, why? if the bypass was there it wouldn't have had to come through the town.

they will more than likely still come through town bypass or no bypass
wont know until the bypass is built and up and running

I doubt it, which would you choose, a road where you can drive at a constant 50mph or a winding road where 30mph would be a luxury?

if i were a business i suppose it would be the one with the shortest route wouldnt it??

not necessarily, it would be the route which offered the most economic value.

If there was a 3 tonne limit, enforcement and decent signage, they would use the bypass.

Businesses on teh trading estates were questions about the 3tonne limit by the council recently.

I believe Dave is right - my understanding is that weight limits / access only will be put in place when the Eastern bypass is built, to stop lorries coming through the town.

thats the junction i come out of every day 2 hours earlier......       dangerous road that...and they still come hareing up and down that road even though its only a 30 mile limit ( thats a  joke to start with )

just had a fone call actually about that accident from a friend making sure i was ok    (thanks  x )
