KFC Trowbridge
« on: December 20, 2011, 07:54:13 AM »
I was wondering if anyone has tried the new KFC in trowbridge. I was going to treat me and the other half to one but i've heard some nasty stories. Undercooked food and such like. Anyone give it a review?

I went on Sunday afternoon. Tasted like KFC, neither I nor the family were ill. I too have heard rumours of undercooked food, but its just people with no much time on their hands talking bollocks as always.

I was shopping in B and M's yesterday and decided to try a KFC as we had never had a KFC meal from anywhere before, I think the meal was RoadRunner or something like that, got one for the wife as well, Sorry but got to speak as I find, the chicken breast pieces were dried out, the bun was nice, the chips were limp and not that good, BUT the main complaint was this brown sauce that the chicken had over it was to us very hot to our mouths, ---- must point out we dont eat curry or anything like that-- so to us it was hot! there was no mention of that sauce on the boards and if there had would have chosen something else, so for me to sum up, sorry, but we won't be going there again.

Sounds like the usual standard to me.

Don't apologise OC! I've been once, but I doubt I'll be going back. Don't do KFC, McD's or Burger King. Also I've boycotted Costa & Starbucks!

Indeed OC, as S9 says, you speak as you find and thats what you should do :) The chips are never good, I agree with you there.

As for Costa and Starbucks, well, don't get me started ;)

Don't like their chips. Generally have the classic KFC chicken if and when I go. Not been to the Trowbridge one yet.
