The next meeting of the the BA13+ Westbury Community Area Partnership is the AGM, on Wednesday 19th August starting at 7pm. The venue is the Baptist Chapel, Stormore, Dilton Marsh BA13 4BH. As usual a particular theme from the Community Plan will be considered, and for this meeting it has been decided that the timely theme is TRANSPORT, with particular reference to the Key Issues identified in our current Community Plan, namely encourage use of Public Transport; improving town traffic flow to encourage people to shop here;  encouraging cycling for health and to reduce congestion by enhancing and increase availability of cycle routes in and around Westbury; encourage effective use of the Railway Station by improving links between station and Town.

Guest speakers on the night include travel plan specialist Mr Lee Fletcher from the Trans Wilts CiC who will speak on local public transport issues with a particular focus on bus services, and representatives from Westbury Wheelers cycle club.
