NUMEROUS POLICE CARS AND SEARCH LIGHTS AROUND THE AREA AND ROAD BLOCKED OFF. Asked the police if it was an accident and she said No, an incident. Any ideas

The Wiltshire Times just says that armed police are there.  I know the chap who lives in the corner house... hope he's OK!

Corner house not involved, its a dozen houses or so up from Eden Vale. I assumed it was a drugs raid initially as there were sniffer dogs, but its gone on a while for that.

From the Wiltshire Times website:

A 16-YEAR-OLD boy has been arrested after making threats to kill following an armed police siege outside a house in Westbury.
Armed officers from Tri-Force, five police cars and an ambulance attended the scene on Leigh Road at 4.22pm.
Officers gained access to the property at 8.30pm and the teenager was arrested and remains in police custody.
The road was shut until 8.40pm.

If rumours are to believed, it wasn't an over reaction. Plus, no one was hurt and the inconvenience was minor. Plus, what excitement!
