Spain Attacks
« on: August 18, 2017, 14:31:58 pm »
So yesterday we saw another terrorist attack, this time in Barcelona. The terrorists used a vehicle as a weapon.

My question is can anything realistically be done to stop this? Yes you could put barriers up in some pedestrianised areas, but surely there will always be a risk somewhere....beaches, parks, queues for venues etc.

Is this just part of life now? Should we just accept that it does happen, but try to keep vigilant?

Strikes me that these terrorists are not very imaginative.

I read somewhere that it is a generational thing.  We are to expect attacks for another 20-30 years.

In answer to your question. We all need to be vigilant. Minimise the risk is all you can do.

More awful attacks again , more innocent lives lost in an instant. You can do nothing about them but just keep vigilant i suppose and always be aware of your surroundings . Shouldnt have to accept these happenings but it looks like they are to stay for a while. Bit like the ira in the 70s  and 80s ect .. Just have to be aware
