The Millhouse Cafe.
« on: February 23, 2018, 18:43:06 PM »
Just come back from the Sons of Morris, and noticed that a fire crew were just leaving  the Millhouse Cafe premises which were empty. Has it closed down?

I would like to say something about the PO ....... but the Post Office Ltd manager who was dealing with finding a new host for the main PO in Westbury has left her job  .... and they are actually waiting to recruit or appoint a replacement before anything further can happen on making progress for a new PO in Westbury ....

You could not make it up!!!

Anyone know what's happening to this place? No obvious work being carried out so not convinced it's being refurbished.

No idea what is happening, but cafes and restaurants are closing all over the country at present due to a mad over-supply plus increased costs of operating ...

I was reading about predictions of a crash in the restaurant trade about 3 years ago due to far too many opening over the previous 5 years.

Then there is the awful access into the unit via steep steps and / or quite a steep ramp at the back that is actually unsafe for many disabled folk.
