Oh, I stand corrected.  Then there is every chance Labour members can vote for a non-Momentum candidate.

I'm unsure why lots of professional commentators keep saying that Momentum controls the party then.

Because they use bully boy tactics to intimidate the membership and MP's they don't like.

This article is nearly two years old and has been disproved. Momentum is owned by a Labour Party member and is not the force that it first was. It still has support and its members work very hard in elections but in effect it is a lobby group.

All far-right and far-left parties need thugs to enforce their beliefs, and to intimidate those that won't toe the party line. Hitler had the brown shirts and Labour has Momentum.
